Just a little project thingy I have been working on, some flash comics and animations(which will be coming pretty soon). I have been studying quite a lot on this subject lately and I hope I can start doing something really good and funny in the near future. For now this is my first (sort-of) test comic, the drawing is pretty bad and awkward for now, but I hope I will get better at it as time goes by. More will be coming in the next few weeks, so if you like ‘em then tune in next week for some more.
For this first comic I chose the movie “Kindergarten Cop”, which, for every Arnie soundboard enthusiast is a must, as most of the soundboards on the net with Arnie have about 80% of the quotes from this film. The film itself is pretty bad, falling into that obscure area of Arnold’s acting career (with other titles like “Twins”, “Last Action Hero” or “Junior”).
As for why I chose this particular flick for the first comic I posted, it’s just an inside joke my friends and I are doing these days.
As I sit here in Scârț, drinking my coffee and listening to some Bob Dylan, a thought comes to mind: This is some good fucking music. The bands of the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s were awesome. I could write pages of band names, albums or songs that are worth listening to, but I guess you already know ‘em. Or most of them. That’s music.
And I can’t stress the word music enough. Because what they make these days isn’t music. It’s random piss thrown at you with a side dish of vanilla flavoured puss. Lovely . It’s like a teacher scratching the blackboard with her long unpolished recycled nails. (thanks Florin).
Except perhaps some modern jazz bands, and Zappa Plays Zappa, which play the music of Zappa, so again nothing original, there aren’t any bands or artists that can come up with something that can stimulate the ears in a pleasant way. Nothing original, nothing new, just recycled crap, mainstream bullshit and teen-friendly toilet paper. If anyone who reads this can name a band or solo artist that has less than 5 or even 10 years of activity in the music business and is worth listening to… I’ll give him/her a foot massage. Hell, I’ll even throw in a handjob just to show you how grateful I am. Nobody? Shit…….
I was born in the wrong decade. About 5 decades too late.
Even the bands that made great music 30 or 40 years ago don’t bother to come up with something good. They just play the old stuff in their concerts because that’s what the masses like. Pathetic.
Here are a few clips of good music.Old music. In original or cover form. Sounds awesome. Enjoy.

As Donnie Donowitz would put it: “Fuck a duck!”.
This week’s Lost was an amazing piece of television from start to finish. This episode has everything you would want from this show: action, suspense, drama, emotion and character depth. I still can’t believe 3 major characters are dead, with Frank’s fate being left uncertain(probably dead as well). I am not going to go into detail about the story here. I am just going to say kudos to the writers for doing this, as it was a great way to get us, the audience, ready for these final 3 episodes.
A big plus here, as ABC has announced that the finale will be 2 and a half hours long as the producers needed the extra 30 minutes to properly end the show.
Lost is the best show on TV right now, and if you are not watching it…. ….. …. well then you, sir, are a MORON!!!
Last night saw the official comeback of the spanish superchamp to the form he got us used back in 2008 and early 2009 when he won Roland Garros, Wimbledon, the Australian Open (in 2009) and reached the semifinals at the US Open. Everything is working at 100% capacity for Rafa: his knees have stopped causing him problems, his forehand works great, his backhand is starting to act like his second forehand again, he looks eager to win everything and physically prepared to defeat anyone who stands in his way.
Nadal is now only 480 points away from Djokovic, from claiming the nr. 2 spot in the rankings, and if Federer keeps playing this bad in the following tournaments, and Nadal’s game stays this good off-clay then we have a very interesting year ahead of us.
Last nights final was very interesting, as both Spaniards played their best tennis in order to win the tournament, with Ferrer pushing and being very incisive throughout the game, a tactic that proved to be very tiring for the 28-year-old and in the end cost him the match, even though great points were played all the way to the end of the game. Below is a video with highlights from the game, a feast for any tennis fan.
Coming back to our beloved country, the young female gymnasts won a couple of golden, silver and bronze medal + the bronze medal for the Romanian team, which means we are not completely fucked (as a country) when in comes to sports.
And now…. football. Crap. Our championship is coming to an end, with just 4 rounds to go, and the battle is more fierce than ever. The teams are giving their best in order to play well and accumulate as many points as they can in these last few games, with the first 4 teams being separated by only 4 points(do you see a pattern here?!?). But of course it’s not the players who are giving their best to win these points, as all the top teams are playing like shit and, as a good friend of mine put it, the top spot should be eliminated, it’s the bosses and presidents of these “respected” teams who fight FTW. It’s scandals, threats, bribes and verbal assaults that will, in the end, decide the winner. Only in Romania. Liend ov ciois. Fâssss…
Realitatea.net should probably hire a few writers and some correctors. Some of their articles really suck and have no meaning what-so-ever. The one on drug consumption doubling in the past 4 years proves what I’ve just said.
Nevermind the spelling and punctuation mistakes… Noooo… fuck that… the information is the one that matters right? I mean who knew that kids in primary school (1st to 8th grade) take tranquilizers? … … … REALLY???? Tranquilizers? Who the fuck gives them that? How the fuck can a 12-year-old get his hands on tranquilizers? Maybe if his father owns the zoo… or has a bear farm. But nooo. Tranqs aren’t enough. Apparently 12-year-olds also take amphetamines. Yeah. They make their own meth. Every 12-year-old has a meth lab in his basement. But when they get to high school they evolve a bit. They start taking Ecstasy, Cocaine and Heroin. Because every kid in this country has money to buy heroin. Oh wait, I forgot. They made the money selling meth in the courtyard during recess. Good for them. When they graduate and go to college, they experience rehab and take on the non-lethal and non-addictive drugs. Like weed, shrooms or LSD. I guess they were taught a lesson and by now they know that heroin, cocaine and meth can kill you. How come none of them took on alcohol?
Romania having crooked politicians and businessmen is a fact known by pretty much everybody with more than 2 active brain cells and access to information(internet, tv, newspapers or something similar). The Voicu case is now the most interesting thing on tv(when it comes to politics), as it seems that new names appear with each day that passes and the speculations regarding who will be next are plenty. Since he’s definitely going down I hope he’ll take everyone with him. Party colleagues, businessmen, and affiliates, I hope nobody will be left standing. Iliescu, Geoana, Hrebengiuc, Vanghelie, Nastase, Mitrea, all the scum from PSD, and even from other parties. If Basescu Almighty is involved with this asshole then take him down too. All the scum. Let them rot in jail or fucking execute them, because it’s people like them who got this country in the toilet, who robbed us of our freedom, our rights and our money, so they can triumph, get rich and sit on their thrones while we starve, have an underpaid job or give up school just because we can’t afford it.
I’m not saying that he’s the only one who deserves to go to jail. Hell, no. Nastase, Patriciu, Voiculescu, or Iliescu are just a few names I can think of, but the list can easily continue. The best thing about this is that the justice system is finally starting its engines and functioning correctly. Like a diesel engine… Or am I too optimistic?
